Farewell to President

New Delhi, July 17: Indian President's term will end on July 24. Loksabha speaker Sumitra Mahajan has told media yesterday that "a grand farewell will be organized by the president on July 23".

She has also said that all MPs will present coffee table book with their signatures to him as a token of gratitude. A book would be kept at the central hall where all MPS can sign from July 17.

Mahajan has said that the farewell would be held at the Central Hall of the Parliament.Sources say that she will deliver the farewell speech during the event. After the event President would attend a high tea in the courtyard outside the Central Hall specially organized for him.

The next president would take oath on July 25. Sources say that Mukherjee would shift his house to an official bungalow at Rajaji Marg. Let's hope that the function takes place as planned.
