New York July 15: An employee has retired. Amazon's Vice President Michael George has announced his retirement. George has helped the company launch Echo connected home device and the Alexa smart software that drives it.

He has posted about his retirement on his LinkedIn profile. he has posted a message in Binary language (a series of zeros and ones). Sources have said that the translated message he posted is"Retired from Amazon after 20 years, loved each and every minute working in the company, not checking out, just changing the game".

However, he has not yet disclosed his future plans after his retirement. There are many speculations that he might join other companies but no confirmation is received.Company has said that Tom Taylor, senior vice president of Amazon Payments would replace Georges role.
