India to become electric accidents free country

Union Power Security Council held a first meeting in Hyd

Hyderabad, July 15: The Union Power Security Council has decided to achieve the goal of transforming India into an electric accidents free country.

The first meeting of this association was held in Hyderabad here on Friday.

In the meeting, the delegates have discussed to set up a joint platform to tackle the risks involved in the implementation of power security standards.

The committee spoke about the functions of the duties, meeting sessions, preventing measures against occurring of electric accidents.

The meeting was chaired by Chief Electricity Inspector Ramana Prasad and the chairperson of the Central Electricity Board, BK Sharma, chaired by Telangana Energy Secretary Ajay Mishra.
