Farmer Family attempted suicide infront of CM Camp office

Hyderabad, July 14: In a panic Incident, A farmer family of 3 members is attempted suicide by consuming pesticides in front of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao's camp office in the city here on Thursday.

While coming to details, Three members of a farmer family from Suryapet of Nalgonda district.They have been identified as Nagaraju(40), his daughter Navya (13) and nephew Srinivas(18).

Sources said one of the family members of Nagaraju was admitted into a hospital with some chronic disease. In spite of spending a fortune, they were reportedly directed by doctors to arrange for more cash.

Unable to pay the amount, Nagaraju has approached local political leaders in Nalgonda seeking their assistance in getting financial assistance under Chief Minister's Relief Fund. However, they, according to sources, failed in giving any assurance.

In an attempt to meet the Chief Minister and submit a representation seeking funds, Nagaraju, Navya and Srinivas came to CMO, however, they were denied meeting the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.

The chief minister's security personnel shifted all the three to the Gandhi hospital nearby where the condition of the two members reported critical. The other said to be stable but undergoing treatment.

It is indeed shocking that after the incident, local Punjagutta police tried to hush up the case. The Gandhi hospital, however, confirmed that it admitted patients after a suicide attempt.
