Lady Collector was mishandled by MLA

Mahabubabad, Telangana July 13: An insult took place yesterday. Mahabubabad district collector Preeti Meena was insulted was MLA B.Shankar Nayak yesterday. This incident happened during the launch of Harita Haram a tree plantation program in the state.

After the incident, she has returned to her chambers and complained to higher officials on it. Sources say that MLA has manhandled her by holding her hand.

Later in the day Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has got angry and has ordered the MLA to tender an unconditional apology to the Collector. Party chief has also said that MLA would be suspended from the party if he failed to correct his misbehaviors in future.Earlier revenue employees have staged the protest sporting black badges and they demanded the CM to take action against the MLA.

Finally, Deputy CM K Srihari has spoken to Ms. Meena over the telephone and assured her that such incidents do not occur in future. Finally, the collector was persuaded and the MLA has tendered an apology. Let's hope that such incidents don't happen in the future.
