Mission Parivar Vikas launched

New Delhi, July 12: A new scheme was launched yesterday. J.P. Nadda Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare yesterday has launched Mission Parivar Vikas on the occasion of World Population Day.He has launched this scheme at an event organized by the Jansankhya Sthirita Kosh. Mission Parivar Vikas, is a new family initiative by the central government.Under this scheme

* Steps will be taken to control high rate of population growth in 146 districts of 7 states of India.

* People would be provided with a new basket of contraceptive choices.

* Quality of services and commodities delivered would be improved.

The Minister has also launched several other initiatives such as
# Antara
# Family Planning Logistics Management Information System (FPLMIS) a new software to help ASHA workers.
# A new consumer-friendly website on family planning
# 52-week radio show to focus on family planning.

Let's hope that all the initiatives launched will be a success so that population in the country is reduced.
