B.Tech Student Committed Suicide over frustration

Hyderabad, July 9: Here a tragic incident has happened, while a B.tech student has committed suicide by jumped off from the 3rd floor of College Building. The incident has occurred at Sri Indu Engineering College in Ibrahimpatnam here on Saturday.

While coming to details, The victim was identified as K Balavenkata Naga Chaitanya(21), is the son of K Srinivasulu, a resident of Srinivasa Colony, Gurramguda in Ibrahimpatnam. He was a Mechanical Engineering third year student in Sri Indu Engineering College.

According to the police, Naga Chaitanya and his father went to the college in the morning to pay his fee. When they met the principal, he told Chaitanya's father about his backlogs from previous years. If he couldn't clear them in the third year, the principal informed he would be detained.

"During their conversation, the Head of the Department asked Chaitanya to wait outside the office for a moment. Chaitanya, who reportedly was depressed and frustrated over the issue, then leaped from the third floor of the building.The college authorities shifted his body to Kamineni Hospital, where he was declared brought dead," police said.

A case was booked and is being investigated while the body was shifted for the post mortem.
