2.70 crore old notes

Surajpole, India July 9: A seizure took place yesterday. Old notes worth Rs. 2 crores 70 lakh have been seized by the Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) in Rajasthan yesterday night. Demonetized notes were recovered from the house of a garments trader and 3 people Sanjay Jain, Ramprasad and a home guard jawan Bhagwan Singh were arrested.

ATS Superintendents of Police (SP) Vikas Kumar has said that we have acted upon a tip-off received that old thousand and five hundred rupees notes were being changed at the residence of Sanjay Jain a garments businessman.

Police have further said that interrogation is going on and a case is booked against the people.
