Online sex racket busted in Vizag

Vishakapatnam, July 7: The Vishakapatnam Task Force police have arrested an online sex racket contained 4 persons in the city on Thursday.

The ACP I.Chittibabu said the task force police have raided two rooms in Beach View Holiday Home in Pandurangapuram and arrested two organizers, Mohammad Abdul Nazeer alias Vicky and S. Sattibabu, two customers, B. Ranjit Kumar and SP. Srinivas, of the city and seized Rs 27,870 cash and six mobile phones from them.

The CTF personnel also rescued three victims belonging to Mumbai, Nagpur of Maharashtra and Jamshedpur of Jharkhand. During inquiry, it was learnt that the duo have been organising online prostitution through 'Locanta' website.

The arrested, along with seized property, were handed over to the III Town police. The Task Force Personnel also raided Bhudilpark Hotel in Dwarakanagar area in the city and arrested six persons while they were gambling.

They seized gaming amount Rs 53,470 from their possession. The arrested were handed over to Dwaraka Police station.
