Mumbai youth commits suicide by jumping from the Bandra-Worli Sealink.

Mumbai July 04: The body Pawandeep Singh Kohli, son of a top businessman, was recovered from the sea near Taj Lands End Hotel at Bandra West on Monday.

The 24-year-old youth had gone missing on Sunday. Police said he possibly committed suicide by jumping from the Bandra-Worli Sealink.

"We received information around 9:30 am that a body was seen near the rocks at Bandra Fort. Police rushed to the spot and retrieved it," an officer said. The body was sent for post-mortem examination. "The deceased was identified by his father," senior police inspector, Bandra, Pandit Thackeray, said.

A resident of Pali Hill, Kohli was depressed after he came to know that his girlfriend was getting engaged with somebody else.

The police have recovered a suicide note in which he named four people, including his girlfriend.
