Ramnath Kovind to get 95% of Votes from AP

Andhra Pradesh: Amaravati, July 4: The Ruling and opposition parties of Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, West Bengal and Tripura states are combinedly supporting the same candidate for the presidential election.

The NDA's Presidential candidate Ram Nath Kovind will meet MPs and MLAs of the Telugu Desam Party and the BJP in Vijayawada on Tuesday as part of his election campaign.

Kovind already has the support of 207 out of the 211 MPs and MLAs from Andhra Pradesh.

In Andhra Pradesh, the ruling party TDP and opposition party YSRCP are jointly supporting the NDA's candidate Ramnath Kovind, then 95% of AP voters elected the Ramnath.

At present, one of the 175 Assembly seats in AP is vacant. In the remaining 174, both the ruling and the Opposition members are the MLAs, who are 100% votes the Ramnath Kovind.

Similarly, The 25 Lok Sabha MPs votes will be owned by Kovind. In Rajya Sabha, Meira Kumar is likely to get four votes for Congress candidate.

All 11 Rajya Sabha members are represented by Chiranjeevi, Renuka Chowdhury, MA Khan and SubbaRami Reddy from Congress. The other seven are supported to NDA Candidate.

Overall, 50,322 (94.37%) votes for Ramnath Kovind and 2,382 (5.6%) of votes for Meira Kumar will get the votes polled from AP.

In any other state, the NDA candidate does not get enough votes. Congress candidate Meira Kumar is in a similar situation in Kerala, West Bengal, and Tripura.
