Meira Kumar to visit Hyderabad today

Hyderabad, July 03: Meira Kumar, who is the presidential nominee for the Opposition parties will be in Hyderabad on Monday to seek support for her election by MPs and legislators in Telangana State.

She will meet the Telangana Congress leaders at Gandhi Bhavan and later address a press conference, During her visit. She will garland her father Babu Jagjivan Ram’s statue near Basheerbagh before moving to the Exhibition Grounds at Nampally where she will share her thoughts at meeting of Congress leaders and representatives of various left parties, apart from intellectuals and journalists.

After their nomination last month, Kumar and Kovind have been visiting various states as part of their campaign for the top constitutional post.
