President,Sonia Gandhi condemn cow vigilants

New Delhi, July 2: A warning was issued recently. President Pranab Mukherjee yesterday has condemned the attacks on people in the name of cow protection. He has asked all the people of the country to rally against the rising trend of mob lynchings and they need to curbed.

He has also said that "how are you vigilant enough" pro-actively, to save the basic tenets of our time. He said the above words when he was speaking at the release of a commemorative edition of 'National Herald' on 70 years of Independence. The function was attended by Sonia Gandhi, former PM Manmohan Singh, and Rahul Gandhi.

Congress chief Sonia Gandhi has alleged that Government is giving support to fringe elements and it is a serious concern because we are at a crossroads of Indian democracy. Finally she said that people must stop supporting the ruling party because they are trying to alter the basic fundamentals of the country.
