NK Premchandran awarded best parlimenterian Award

New Delhi, June 23: A nominee for the award was chosen yesterday.
N K Premachandran Lok Sabha Member and RSP leader was selected for the Best Parliamentarian Award for 2016. The Award was announced by a popular media group for his contribution to make the parliamentary democracy stronger and protect its value system.

The award will be presented to the member by Vice President Hamid Ansari and Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan during the upcoming session of Parliament.

Media House said that "it was difficult for us to select the award because there were many contenders and very eminent members of Jury undertook an extensive exercise in selecting the member. Finally the jury unanimously selected Premachandran for the Best Parliamentarian Award in Lok Sabha in 2016.

Presently the member represents Lok Sabha from Kollam in Kerala. He is a key member of the Revolutionary Socialist Party (RSP). Earlier, he worked as a state Cabinet Minister of Water Resources in Kerala from 2006 to 2011.
