Rao Ramesh is back as a Royyala Naidu

Hyderabad, June 18: Rao Ramesh is the busiest artist in Tollywood and he enjoys good craze among the audience also. Even though he is the son of Rao Gopala Rao... he worked very hard to achieve star image. His wonderful acting skills also helped him to achieve star status. He is one of the highest paid character artistes in Telugu now. Directors.. writers are specially designing characters for him nowadays.. which shows his range.

Rao Ramesh is saying that he was very much interested in camera right from his student days and he wanted to become a cinematographer. All his plans have gone haywire when his father passed away in 1994. He planned to become a producer and approached a director... he lost money but couldn't become a producer. He planned to start a mushroom business in Chennai later... but it didn't materialize. His mother suggested him to try his hand in acting later. Rao Ramesh reached Hyderabad and tried hard for opportunities.. he got a small role as Simran's brother in 'Seema Simham'.. it couldn't give him the recognition.

He said that he started acting in serials and it went on for few years.. it was a big achievement for him to receive Rs. 1,500 as remuneration per day. His career completely changed with the character in 'Gamyam' movie and 'Kotha Bangaru Lokam'.

Rao Ramesh is playing the villain role in Bunny's upcoming film 'DJ'. Rao Ramesh is playing the role of 'Royyala Naidu'. He said that "Harish likes EVV films. Royyala Naidu character played by my father in 'Aa Okkati Adakku' is his favorite one. My name DJ is also 'Royyala Naidu'.. but the characterization is different. I will try not bring a bad name to my father".
