Jaitly thanked KCR over GST

New Delhi June 17: AS we knew that, the centre has been announced its GST, from this perspective many of the States has been given their feedbacks over the GST.

Even though Telangana govt has been disappointed with GST over the beedi workers, but here Union Minister for Finance Arun Jaitley thanked Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao here on Friday.

He thanked KCR for extending support to the single tax regime through the GST Act which would come into force from 1 July in the country.

The Union Minister said the adoption of GST bill would not have been possible without the support of the State governments and all political parties in the country.

Jaitley requested Chandrashekar Rao to conduct awareness camps for MPs and MLAs before the enforcement of the act.
