SCR department intensive ticket checking on various Trains

Hyderabad, June 15: Secunderabad Division of South Central Railway (SCR) officials has been checked the Station, who are traveling without the valid Ticket.

From this perspective, An amount of Rs 8,12,550 was realized towards penalty during the check.

SCR officials undertook an intensive ticket checking on various MMTS, Express and Passenger trains throughout the division on June 12 to curb ticketless, irregular travel and unbooked luggage to ensure comfortable and safe journey of bona fide rail passengers.

The check was conducted under the overall supervision of Divisional Commercial Manager, Secunderabad Division.

A total of 1,675 persons were apprehended out of which 563 persons traveling without a ticket, 886 persons traveling irregularly and 226 cases of unbooked luggage were detected.
