Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju distributed Deepam Connections

Vishakapatnam, June 14: The Civil Aviation Minister P Ashok Gajapathi Raju has visited Iruvada in Atchutapuram Mandal, which was adopted by him at Vishakapatnam.

He was inaugurated a few developmental programs initiated at a cost of Rs.1.31 crore in the village. As many as 120 residents were given house papers, 70 got Deepam gas connections and 26 Kishore Balika Samrakshna scheme papers.



The minister said development is not limited to the villages, every person has to be literate to make things better. He said the program titled 'Chitti Guruvulu', initiated in his adopted village Dwarapudi in Vizianagaram district, has brought about good change.

The minister opined that the same concept can be adopted in Iruvada as well.Literacy is key to solve many problems and helps in the development of society.

While Speaking on the occasion, MP Srinivasa Rao promised that he would adopt the concept to make every person in the village literate.
