Telangana Gurukul Schools Started

Hyderabad, June 12: Classes will start in Gurukul schools from Monday in Telangana. The new BSc candidates they have been sanctioned to 119 schools for the constituency.

For the Minorities, they have sanctioned with 121 new schools. The number of SC, ST, BS and Minority seats in the state is about 704 for this academic year.

Welfare departments have been set up to open new gurukuls on Monday by the representatives of the respective constituencies.

Minority Grievance Society Secretary B Shafiullah said 71 schools would be opened on the 12th of this month and the rest will begin in another week.

This year, 53,000 students will benefit from minorities. SC, ST, BC, General Grievances Society has organized a joint entrance examination for admission to the fifth class in general gurukuls.

Rented buildings are being used for the newly constructed gurukuls, The construction of the new gurukuls has not been completed yet in the past two years.There have been two Gurukul schools in one school.

50 percent of newly sanctioned schools have been targeted to build gurukul buildings by 2019.



Even though there are 71 places for minority schools, the collection has not yet started. There is a shortage of infrastructure in new schools. The information is likely to take some time to complete this process.

The government plans to construct residential schools on par with international schools on vast campuses measuring up to four to five acres of land away from populated areas. "On every child annually one lakh rupees is being spent on board boarding, food and education," Shafiullah said.

Apart from the education, the students will be trained to excel in sports and other co-curricular activities. Religious education is also been provided at the hostels to Muslim students.

The schools will be inaugurated in three phases in all the districts of the State by the local caretakers and public representatives. While 50 schools will be inaugurated on June 12 another 50 on June 16, the remaining 21 schools will be inaugurated on June 19.
