police recovers IED in chattisgarh

Raipur, June 11: Police officers have prevented a threat to people.
police said that they have recovered a 5 kg bomb which was planted by Naxals.

Kanker's Additional Superintendent of Police Jaiprakash Badhai told that we have acted based on a specific input received.he said that a team of district force has recovered the improvised explosive device (IED) from the villages of Khallari and Thema of Chattisgarh.

He said that the explosive was hidden beneath the road which is frequently used by security forces and common people.The IED was destroyed by the bomb disposal squad. Police said that Maoists have planted such devices to kill security forces and stall developmental works in the state.

Finally, they said that the search operation is going on and they will soon arrest Maoists who have planned an attack on security forces. Let's hope that police will remove vigilant in future as well to save lives of people.
