TS govt to launch 119 Gurukul Schools

Hyderabad June 09: A good news for the Backwards classes people, as they are getting the Mahatma Jyothiba Phule Gurukul Schools.

Minister for Backwards Classes’ Welfare Jogu Ramanna said that The State government would launch 119 Mahatma Jyothiba Phule Gurukul Schools across the State on June 12.

Addressing the media at the Secretariat here on Thursday, the Minister said the Gurukul Schools would be opened in every Assembly constituency in the State for the benefit of children of the Backwards Classes.

Ramana also added that the students in these schools would be prepared to global standards with English medium and would make them take on any other corporate school student in the examinations in future.

He also said the schools would provide quality education with English Medium to the BCS as dreamt by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao. It was estimated that a total of 28,520 students will benefit from these schools.
