Goa to get CNG busses

GOA, June 5: A Good news for Goa citizens. State Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar on Monday said that the coastal state will soon get non-polluting based public transport. These alternative fuel transport include Ethanol and CNG based vehicles.

Parrikar said that we are planning Several activities to reduce the carbon footprint in the state.Sources said that state will soon receive new buses and these will be purchased from the funds released under Swacch Bharat, AMRUT scheme and state will also spend from its Budget.


CM further said that we will soon focus on Solid Waste Management and we will train a lot of youth in this area. We will tap the potential of the state and we will increase the number of tourists visiting the state.

Chief Minister had addressed the media after he had participated in tree plantation drive. Finally, he said that Goa would become greener and less polluting state in coming years.
