Aadhar security strengthened

NEW DELHI June 2 : The central government plans to strengthen the security of Aadhar details and make sure that details are not leaked .

The government has written to all departments and issued instructions to follow the new guidelines it has released .

some of the guidelines released are

*All departments must Encrypt all Aadhar data and personalised financial details.

* Every department must have one official responsible for Aadhar Data protection

* The ministries must create awareness about consequences of data breach

* Conduct regular audits

* Don't store the biometric data in unprotected devices such as Laptops, PCs or mobiles.

Finally lets hope that all central government departments follow the guidelines so that Aadhar data remains safe.
