Switzerland, June 1: Generally we come across many known and unknown things on Facebook. While using Facebook we will like and comment on the pics and Posts according to our taste. But from now Be very careful when making 'like' on Facebook.

Coming to matter, A Court in Switzerland fined a man with $4000 for liking Controversial post on Socia Media. The man has 'liked' several posts written by a third party member that accused an animal rights activist of antisemitism, racism, and fascism.

In court, the man was unable to prove that the claims were accurate, sources said. A statement from the court said 'The defendant clearly endorsed the unseemly content and made it his own.' The court fined the man a total of $4,000 Swiss francs (Approximately Rs. 2.60 lakhs ).

The Zurich court said The 'Likes' in this case were made between the months of July and September 2015, before Facebook broadened the range of emotions that users can deploy when responding to a post.

Until February 2016, there was only 'like' button to react to a post, but now it is providing 'Love,' 'Haha,' 'Wow,' 'Sad,' and 'Angry' buttons.
