KCR to appoint women organizers for every 2 districts

Hyderabad, May 31: The Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has given instructions to officials to appoint one woman organizer for every two districts here on Tuesday and one for Hyderabad district to monitor women's development and child welfare related activities.

Recalling that such officers functioned when N T Rama Rao was Chief Minister of undivided Andhra Pradesh, the Chief Minister said these women organizers will have their offices in the Deputy Directors complex in the districts.

The Chief Minister announced this at a review meeting women's development and child welfare measures at Pragathi Bhavan here.

Deputy Chief Minister Mehmood Ali, Nizamabad MP Kalvakuntla Kavitha, Deputy Speaker Padma Devender Reddy, Principal Secretary Revenue B R Meena, ACB DG Poornachandra Rao and other officials participated in the meeting.
