Union Minister launched Anti-Ragging App

New Delhi, May 30: The central government has brought a new mobile app to prevent ragging in colleges.This app is useful for students to complain about ragging.

The Union Human Resources Minister Prakash Javadekar has unveiled the anti-ragging app created by the University Grants Commission (UGC) here on Monday. There is a possibility to complain instantly through this App after ragging.



Prakash Javadekar said, "So far, we have taken a quick look at the complaints received through the website and the ragging cases have so much reduced as compared to the past. The newly launched app is completely preventing the ragging."

He also said that The seniors should be friendly with juniors and give some suggestions as mentors.He also warned all student, who will try to ragging the juniors they would be subjected to heavy penalties and strict measures.
