Man killed for being warned

New Delhi, May 29: Here a gruesome incident has occurred at GTB Nagar Metro station of Delhi here on Saturday, while a 32-year-old e-rickshaw driver was beaten to death allegedly by some youth after he objected to them urinating in public place, i.e., Metro Station.

While coming to details, The victim, Ravinder(32), noticed two-three youths, who appeared to be students, urinating on the roadside. "Ravinder was fed up of this and told them that there habit led to bad smell and poor hygiene in the area," said the DCP.

An argument ensued in which the youths threatened Ravinder and said they would come back with their friends. They have returned around 8 pm with around a fifteen youths who allegedly went on to thrash Ravinder.



When they left the spot, Ravinder called his brother, who rushed to him and took him home. But by the time they reached, Ravinder's condition had begun to worsen and he was taken to Bara Hindu Rao hospital where he was declared brought dead.

The DCP said a case in this connection has been registered and teams have been formed to identify and nab the killers. However, no breakthrough in the case was made by Sunday noon.
