Hyderabad, May 24: The Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari has given green signal to the recruitment of around 1061 teacher posts in the universities, which was announced here on Tuesday.

He said that the legal tangle may delay the process to fill the teachers' vacancies. The government is taking advice from legal experts.

While Speaking to the media, Kadiyam Srihari said the government would take steps to fill the vacancies in the universities and 1,061 posts out of 1,550 would be filled soon. Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had given his approval for the recruitment.



In the Recruitment, A total of 34 posts in Mahatma Gandhi University, 63 in Palamuru University, 40 in Satavahana University, 59 in Telangana University, 96 in Rajiv Gandhi University, 10 in Ambedkar University, seven in Potti Sriramulu University, 136 in Kakatiya University, 15 in JNTU Fine Arts College, 186 in JNTU, and 415 posts in Osmania University would be filled.

Kadium told that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had approved the appointment of Vidya Volunteers and hiked the salary for them from existing Rs 8,000 to Rs 12,000 a month.
