KCR to celebrate Telangana Formation Day

Hyderabad May 24: As we knew that JUNE 2 is Telangana Formation Day, we all knew that many of the citizens of the state and govt employees have protested for 45 days to get the Bangaru Telangana.From this perspective, The Telangana government today decided to organise the state formation day celebrations on June 2 on a grand scale.

Looking into the matter, The Telangana Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao directed that the celebrations by govt officials be kicked off after paying homage to those who sacrificed their life for separate statehood, a release from his office said.



KCR instructed that every important junction in Hyderabad and in district headquarters towns be decorated, including illumination, to reflect the celebratory mood of state formation

Telangana came into existence on June 2, 2014.
