Pakistani caller offers Rs. 50 crore to kill PM Modi

Madhya Pradesh, May 23: A Youth in Satna district of Madhya Pradesh received an anonymous call from a person who allegedly offered Rs 50 crore for the assassination of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Kushal Soni was shocked to receive a call offering him Rs 50 crore to kill Modi at a rally in Mumbai. The Caller used the number +79651219 and introduced himself as a Pakistani. The Youth was told he was the third person they want to execute the plan.

According to Satna police, the caller told Kushal Soni that he would be offered Rs 50 crore if he joined them to kill Modi during a rally in Mumbai. He said they had selected two people and needed a third person. They also offered him as much money as he wanted for the job.



Initially, Kushal Soni didn't take the call seriously. He, however, alerted the local police in Satna as the matter is related to the security of Prime Minister.

A case has been registered and the investigation is going on to find out if it's a hoax call or not.

Superintendent of police Mithlesh Kumar said, "We are investigating the matter. Things will be clear more after the investigation and if it was a hoax call or not."

During the investigation, police found that the number belonged to Kazakhstan. Soni also handed over the call recording to the police. Reacting to the development, superintendent of police Mithlesh Kumar said, "We are investigating the matter. Things will be clear after the probe reveals if it was a hoax call."
