Raymond launches Khadi clothes

Delhi MAY 23: A good news for people who wear traditional clothes. You can buy Khadi clothes at famous Raymond shops. Famous textile giant has added a new brand of clothes to existing ones.Currently, the apparel brand is famous for silk clothes.

Union cabinet minister Giriraj Singh was the Chief Guest and Sumitra Kulkarni Gandhi, granddaughter of Mahatma Gandhi, as the guest of honor have participated in the launch of the company's new branded khadi clothes.

Gautam Hari Singhania, Chairman and Managing Director of a company said that the new collection of garments are a range of fabric blends and ready to wear apparel that resembles with the Indian culture.
He also said that the new launch is a part of Make in India initiative.



The company has outlined its sale policy saying that they would sell and market the khadi or khadi products of village industries or handicrafts.

The company has made an agreement with cottage industries under KVIC act. We would offer a guaranteed minimum price for procurement of khadi and khadi products for a period of five years with primary purchases of muslin cotton, wool blends, and silk.
