Baahubali makers met police officials

Hyderabad May 21: The major problem in the film industry is Piracy. No film can escape piracy.. and even the recent 'Baahubali 2: The Conclusion' couldn't escape the clutches of piracy gang.

A Delhi-based pirate gang has downloaded 'Baahubali 2' directly from the server. A theater owner in the Begusarai district, Bihar has helped the pirate gang to download the film.

The gang has threatened the filmmakers to release that movie online if they don't pay around 15 lakhs in ten days. The producers have approached cyber crime department immediately. The police swung into swift action and they have caught the pirate gang and put them in Hyderabad Jail.



As soon as 'Baahubali 2' makers got to know to know the culprits are booked, director Rajamouli & producer Shobu Yarlagadda personally met DCP Avinash Mahanthi and ACP Raghuveer and thanked them.

Rajamouli interacted with the media after the meeting. He said that the pirate gang has demanded them 15 lakhs money from them. He added that whenever the pirates are stopped from pirating they come up with new technology.

So, there should be continuous observance on piracy as it will eat up the business of film industry. He especially thanked the police department for extending them full support in containing piracy.
