Congress issues show cause notice to Ratanlal Nath

New Delhi, May 20: According to the source's information, The Congress has issued a show-cause notice on senior legislator Ratanlal Nath for "anti-party activities and meeting BJP leaders including party President Amit Shah", they said here on Saturday.

While going to details that, congress president Birajit Sinha said that "We have served a show-cause notice to Ratanlal Nath on Friday night and asked him to respond within three days."

He added that "The show-cause notice was given to Nath for anti-party activities and meeting state Bharatiya Janata Party President Biplab Kumar Deb and all India BJP President Amit Shah in Agartala separately."

"Nath during a debate on demonetization in the state assembly talked in favor of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He has also not attended any party (Congress) program during the past two years," said Sinha, a sitting Congress MLA, and former minister.
