Techie held for demanding additional dowry

Hyderabad, May 19: A case has been lodged on a Hyderabad-based techie for demanding additional dowry from his wife by threatening to expose her lewd pics on social media.

While coming to details, The techie, identified as Praveen, has installed hidden cameras in the house and recorded the movements of his 26-year-old wife and her parents.

He was living along with his working wife and her parents. She grew suspicious when he repeated the conversation she had with her parents. When she found hidden cams, he demanded money for not leaking her nude pics.

The woman approached the police with a complaint against her husband. Cyberabad police registered a case under section 506 of the IPC against Praveen.But they added that they found nothing objectionable in Praveen's laptop or mobile phone.
