South Central Railways to launch New degree Courses

Hyderabad, May 19: The South Central Railways(SCR) are planning to introduce four-degree courses, which has announced on Thursday, in order to strengthen the Railway Degree College for the welfare of the wards of railway employees.

In a press conference here on Thursday, the officials said the college offers courses for a reasonable fee as per the government norms with highly qualified professors and fully equipped computer laboratory.

Accordingly, the new courses including BSc (Maths, Physics, and Chemistry), BSc (Maths, Statistics, Computer Science), BCom (General) and BCom (Computers) in English medium will be introduced from this academic year.

The admissions in this college will be allotted at the ratio of 51 percent for the wards of railway employees and 49 percent for the non-railway persons from the academic year 2017-18.
