Jana reddy fires on TRS govt

Hyderabad May 18: K Jana reddy one of the leader of the opposition in Telangana Assembly has been condemned the attack by TRS party workers on congress MLA Komatireddy Venkatreddy during the inauguration of Orange Market Yard in Nalgonda on Tuesday.

While going to matter, he also condemned Komatireddy's arrest by the police.


Speaking to media reporters here, Jana Reddy slammed that the TRS workers pelted stones on Komatireddy's convoy which resulted in many Congress leaders and workers including Komatireddy suffering injuries.

He said several Congress workers were also injured in the lathi charge by the police. He demanded that the State government withdraw all the cases registered against the Congress workers and provide better treatment to the injured persons.

Jana Reddy announced that he would soon visit Nalgonda to discuss and finalise the future strategy. He said the Telangana Congress Legislature Party would meet on Thursday to discuss the latest political situation in the State.
