Maoists killed in three encounters in Chhattisgarh

Chhattisgarh, May 17: As we knew that On April 24, as many as 25 CRPF soldiers were killed in a Maoist ambush in Chhattisgarh's Sukma district. The troops were guarding workers constructing a road in the Burkapal-Chintagufa area of the Bastar region, Now again at least 15 moist killed in Bastar's Dantewada here on Sunday

While coming to matter, According to the information from the Central Reserve Police Force on Tuesday said they had killed around 10 to 15 Maoists after entering their stronghold in Bastar's Dantewada on Sunday,

The operation was conducted in Basakura by a team including the paramilitary’s personnel as well as members of the CRPF’S Commando Battalion for Resolute Action, Special Task Force, Chhattisgarh Police and District Reserve Group, an unidentified official said here on Tuesday.



The CRPF said around 150 Maoists were involved in these encounters and most of them are believed to be from Telangana, which is also battling the Left-wing insurgency.

"These Maoists were involved in the Burkapal attack and their quizzing will continue," said Sundararaj P, the deputy inspector general of southern Bastar range.
