Police solved 560 family quarrel cases in last 5 months

Karimnagar, May 15: The Karimnagar Commissioner of Police V B Kamalasan Reddy has revealed on Sunday, The police have solved a total of 560 family dispute cases in last five months period.

The disputes between various couples were settled through counseling.

The Commissioner told to media persons at a women police station here on Sunday, that every month,100 to 110 family disputes cases were reported.Department was trying to settle the disputes through counseling by following Supreme Court directions.

While conducting counseling, the help of voluntary organizations was being taken. Denying the allegations that police were intentionally delaying to register cases, he said there was no truth in the allegation.

So far, 74 cases were registered. Police Department was contemplating to record the entire counseling process, he said.

Around 14 SHE teams were working in the Commissionerate, he added.
