Hyderabad May 14: Telangana Telugu Desam party (TTDP) working president A Revanth Reddy has been questioned Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao here on Saturday
While going to matter, He questioned that how his government would purchase crops produced in one crore acres when he miserably failed to purchase Mirchi cultivated in only 2.5 lakh acre.
He also alleged that the TRS government was giving subsidies only to film producers but not to the toiling farmers.
Speaking with the media persons here on Saturday, Revanth Reddy described that the farmers revolted only when the traders and middlemen colluded with each other and tried to cheat the farmers by deciding the throw-away price to Mirchi in the Khammam market yard.
He alleged that the district minister Thummala Nageshwara Rao described the irate farmers as rowdies.
Revanth Reddy participated in Rythu Deeksha program at Khammam Collectorate on Saturday. MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah, Khammam district TDP president Brahmaiah, former MLAs Seethakka, Vem Narender Reddy and others participated in the program.
