ISRO center soon in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, May 13: Here is a good news to the Hyderabad city, Which an Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) center would be launched at the National Remote Sensing Centre campus in Jeedimetla, which was announced by the ISRO chairman and secretary of the department of space A.S.Kiran Kumar here on Friday.

This data would be made available to researchers and entrepreneurs. The expanded facility will also house start-ups from the space application and related technologies' sector.

On the occasion of National Technology Day, while speaking at the Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, he said that one of the main challenges in India was transforming innovations into practical products.

"The idea is to encourage people with innovative ideas to work on the data and come up with solutions to problems."Kiran Kumar was in the city to deliver the AV Rama Rao Technology Award lecture at CSIR-IICT on Friday.

Kumar said that ISRO is planning to launch Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV) Mark-III in the first week of June. It is the most powerful rocket that is capable of transporting.
