Rs. 797.57 Crores for Mission Bhagiratha

HYDERABAD, MAY 12: The Central Government stood up with Mission Bhagirtha. For safe drinking water supply in fluoride affected areas, it has released Rs. 797.57 crores.

On February 10, The Ministry of Drinking water and Sanitation wrote letters For different states and asked all the state governments about the action that are taking in all areas where fluoride and Areas where the effects of arsenic influence are high.

Only Telangana government responded to the letter which was written by The Ministry of Drinking water and Sanitation.

In the Report, Telangana Rural Water Supply Department explained the steps taken by the drinking water supply in the fluoride affected areas of the state and the policies adopted to prevent the future fluoride in the future.

The Central Rural Drinking Water Division has praised the TRS government's response and released Rs 797.57 crore for the latest Mission Bhagiratha project.

The Central drinking water supply department secretary Parameswara Aiyar praised for the supply of safe drinking water under Mission Bhagiratham within the month of december is very appraisable he said.
