Police found a chopped body in Jeedimetla

Hyderabad, May 11: The Police have found a man's body which was chopped into pieces in a gunny bag at a house in Chandranagar, Jeedimetla here on Wednesday night.

While coming to details, The incident has come to light after the house owner noticed a foul smell from his tenant's room on the first floor of the building. The door was locked from outside. He immediately informed the police.

As per preliminary investigation, police suspected that the body is of the tenant, whose identity is being verified. "He has killed nearly a week ago. The body was chopped into pieces and stuffed in a gunny bag," a police officer said.



"However, only the head and abdomen portion of the body was found. The hands and legs were missing", he added.

The victim is suspected to be one of the roommates Vivek Vidhur Jha, Bhanu Jha. The other is absconding, Police said. Police have shifted the body to the Osmania General Hospital for postmortem and are investigating into the case.
