Annual Income of 5 National parties

New Delhi, May 10: BSP, NCP, CPI, CPI (M), Trinamool Congress .. Do you know the revenue of these five national parties in the 2015-16 fiscal year?

Literally Rs.200.76 crores, which was revealed by a Delhi-based "Think Tank" organisation.

Do you suspect that the largest parties mentioned above are BJP and Congress names?

These two major national parties have not yet given their audit reports. That's why their income details are not disclosed.

The Democratic Reforms Commission (ADR) and National Election Watch (NWW) have analysed the details of the income of the remaining five national parties except for the Congress and the BJ

The report said that, the Only 2.37 percent of the Rs 200 crore (Rs 4.75 crore) were received from the known parties. 66.92 percent of the funding (Rs.134.35 crore) was sold through the sale of assets, membership fees, bank interest, books etc.

The remaining 30.71 percent of the revenue (Rs 61.66 crore) came from secret donors to their respective parties.

The CPI (Rs. 45.14 crores) and Trinamool Congress (Rs 9.72 crore) are in the top two. The CPI(M) had received a total of Rs 107.48 crore in revenue for the total five parties, while BSP is second with Rs 47.38 crore. The CPI is the last with just Rs 2.17 crore.

The Trinamool Congress, CPM and BSP have provided their audit reports within the deadline. The CPI and NCP have submitted reports even after the deadline.
