Two telugu state officials meet on RTA issues

Vijayawada, May 10: The conference meeting has been planned to conduct here at Vijayawada on Wednesday, which is attended by the both the RTA officials of Telugu states Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to solve the pending issues related to vehicle transportation and traffic.

The main topics, which are going to discuss in the meeting are following below:

* The Telangana government has long demanded the AP government to implement a single permit policy for lorries.

* The 750 buses of Andhra Pradesh are moving in Telangana and 450 RTC buses are moving in Andhra Pradesh.The Telangana government is objecting that It has moving few kilometers away in AP.

* The Telangana government has suggested that , The state's RTC buses are paying Rs.950 per seat per month in checkposts across the states.Instead of the seat, the tax must be paid on the name of buses, which were traveling in the two states.

The meeting will be attended by Transport Minister Mahender Reddy, Transport principal secretary Sunil Sharma, JTC Raghunath and RTC MD Ramana Rao from Telangana.

On behalf of the AP government, the state transport minister Achheyya Naidu, Principal Secretary Sumitra Dawra and Transport Commissioner Subramaniam will attend the meeting.
