KCR: Asha workers remuneration hike up to Rs 6,000

Hyderabad May 05: Telangana Chief minister Chandra Shekhar Rao has announced that the salary of Asha workers will be raised to Rs 6,000. KCR had held a meeting in Pragati Bhavan with Asha workers and ANM's officials on today.

While speaking to the media persons, CM KCR said that " we will increase the salary after the Next budget" he also stated that, In future, we will equivalent to give the salaries of Asha Workers at the Anganwadi level

We will soon replace 1200 ANM posts and will replace these posts, we will give the opportunity for the Asha Workers in those respected posts, "he said.



KCR has been directed by the respective officers to carry out other tasks other than health related activities for Asha workers.
