AP EAMCET results are released

Vijayawada, May 05: The EAMCET results for the Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET) 2017 have been announced on Friday at 3Pm.

Candidates who have appeared for the examination can check their results from the official website

According to reports, 1,98,064 students registered for the exam from engineering stream and 80,735 registered from the agriculture stream.

The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada, conducts the AP EAMCET exam on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE).

Ministers Ganta Srinivasa Rao, Amarnath Reddy, Kamineni Srinivas Rao, Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy and others were present on the occasion.

Here are the salient features of the EAMCET results



* The results have been declared online to ensure transparency and the marks and the results were sent to the mobile phones of the respective students within half hour of the declaring of the results.

* As many as 1,23,974 students were qualified in the engineering stream. The pass percentage is 79.74. There are 17 government colleges and 305 private colleges in the state having a total of 1,57,000 seats.

* V Mohan Abhyas with 153.93 marks topped the EAMCET, while Sai Bharadwaj with 153 and A Satyam with 152.52 marks stood second and third respectively. There were not girls in the top ten.

* In the agriculture and medical stream as many as 69683 students applied and 65675 actually took the examination. Of them, 55289 have qualified. There are 1156 seats in the medical stream.

* Utukuru Venkata Animesh stood first, while Durga Sandip and Nunna Himaja stood second and third.
