Police arrested a film distributor for organizing cricket betting

Hyderabad May 04: Commissioner's Task Force (North) team officials has been arrested a film distributor, who was organizing cricket betting here on Wednesday.

While coming to details, K Sudheer (46), a resident of East Marredpally and a native of Miryalguda in Suryapet district, was earlier into film distribution business and suffered losses.

In order to earn money "To make up the losses, Sudheer started organizing cricket betting and was accepting bets for punters for the ongoing IPL matches," the police said.

Meanehile, The police officilas seized Rs 36,100 and three mobile phones from him. He was handed over to the Tukaramgate police station for further investigation.
