MLA Sandra alleged on TRS govt

Khammam May 02: Telugu Desam state Secretary and Sathupally MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah has been alleged on the TRS govt up on the issue of Khamma chili yard.

while coming to matter, he said at least five of the chilli farmers against whom cases were booked were ruling TRS party workers.

"This indicates that farmers irrespective of party affiliations are against the government as they didn’t get remunerative price to their produce," he said.

Addressing a press conference, he said Islavath Balya of Laxmipuram under Kallur Mandal was TRS party member. His wife Islavath Laxmi was TRS party in charge of Laxmipuram.



Chamber of Commerce has always been away from politics until TRS came to power, he said, alleging that market forces were ruling the roost in the market yard.

He also found fault with the govt for closing the market yard on April 27, necessitating farmers to attend the TRS public meeting.

He criticized the Minister for Roads and Buildings Tummala Nageswara Rao for belittling the Opposition parties protests.
