Police department cracks whip on corrupt officials

Hyderabad April 27: Telangana state DGP Anurag Sharma is in full swing. His actions are making the Telangana police Department more people friendly. one such measure is the suspension of police officials who are not performing their duties well.

From June 2, 2014, till now more than 100 Inspectors and Sub Inspectors (SI) working in Hyderabad and Warangal zones have been suspended. DGP has also suspended 10 DSP working in Telangana state.

The various reasons for the suspension of police are
They are getting caught by ACB officers

Involvement in Land Settlements

charges of Sexual harassment against them.

The DGP further said that Telangana government has given many Facilities to Police personnel such as
allocation of New Vehicles, New Police Stations, and new technology and amenities but still some police are getting caught is said news for him.

DGP said that he will suspend even more officials if found to be doing any misdeeds.But not compromise on corruption
