Hyderabad, April 26: Amid the growing concern for use of Aadhar for various services and policies.
The Telangana state land registration and stamp duty department have taken a decision to link Aadhar's server with the registration database.
The department said that this move eliminates fake registrations and Benami registrations. To give effect to this policy was tested and implemented in registration office of the Malkajgiri.
Under this policy, they issued a circular that Aadhar card is must get a land to be registered.after testing this process they have also included other identification documents such as passport, driving license, voter id etc.
Although, this relief is applicable if the buyers give their permission. Although the Registration department officials have introduced biometric based verification of both buyer and seller of land they have noticed some discrepancies in the registration of land. So,To overcome those discrepancies they have tried to link Aadhar.
So let's hope that, the officials succeed in overcoming the difficulties because it reduces black money in real estate sector of Telangana.
